This beautifully appointed home has 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, an extra large deck on the main level, and 2 screened porches from which to take in the amazing views. Perfect for couples and families with children, you will enjoy a tranquil setting off the beaten path.
The home sleeps 8-10 comfortably. On the main level with the kitchen and den, there are 2 bedrooms, each with twin-full bunk beds. These bedrooms share a full bath. There are 2 additional bedrooms on the 2nd floor, each with king-sized beds and private baths. The extra-large master suite has both a jetted tub and walk-in shower, as well as a private balcony and television. The home is equipped with super-fast Wifi and deluxe television package.
Tucked away in a private setting, this home is located just across the bridge from Hunting Island State Park and Lighthouse, approximately 20 minutes to the beautiful downtown waterfront of Beaufort, and approximately 1 hour from golf courses, restaurants, and outlet shopping in Bluffton/Hilton Head.
Amenities include:
• Full kitchen with convection oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, silverware, basic pots and pans & cookware.
• Bed linens and bath towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.

PLEASE NOTE: The beach is lined with seagrass and best described as "rustic." While there are some areas where you can wade in shallow water, the beach is best suited for lounging, walking, shell-collecting, and sandcastle-building. The pier is perfect for fishing but is not outfitted to accommodate a boat. Feel free to bring your kayak; the sound is perfect for it! At high tide, water is approximately 6 feet deep.
MAY - OCTOBER: "Lights Out for Loggerheads"
Loggerhead Sea Turtles - listed as a threatened species by both the federal government and the state of South Carolina - lay their eggs along SC beaches from early May through October. When the young begin to hatch, they find their way to the ocean by following the downward slope of the beach and skylight reflected off the ocean’s surface. Because lights from beach houses are brighter than this natural light, they become disoriented and move inland towards the house lights instead of the ocean, where they unfortunately often die from dehydration and exhaustion, drown in pools, are hit by cars, or are taken by predators.
Beaufort County ordinance states that there shall be no visible light on our beaches May through October. This includes house and porch lighting as well as no flashlights on the beach. The Department of Natural Resources canvas the beaches looking for signs of turtle nesting to ensure their safety. If a sea turtle hatchling is disoriented by artificial light, the maximum federal fine for harming a threatened species is $25,000. Violating local or county lighting ordinances carry fines up to $500.
