Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Good location and well equipped kitchen. Enjoyed the amenities such as pool area. Nice view of the golf course and ocean in the distance but lanai is too small to enjoy sitting outside.

Negative: RENTERS BEWARE- Unfortunately we experienced a very uncomfortable situation with the unit owner. They have installed a ring camera to monitor the renters continuously and the moment you leave the unit the air conditioning system is turned off so in the middle of summer when you return to your unit it is unbearably hot. The master suite on second level never cools down completely. The AC is only allowed to reach 75 degrees so this was not comfortable in the upstairs bedroom. Also, although the unit has a lanai it is very small you cannot comfortable sit outside and enjoy the view as there is just a small space for a couple of barstools. We felt watched the whole time and at one point searched for cameras in the unit as we were concerned. We expressed all of our issues and concerned to the property manager and they did not appear surprised so I’m sure we are not the only ones that have had these issues.

Summary: Although the community of Pili Mai and the location great I would NOT reccommend this particular unit.
