Historic and quaint ground floor 3 bedroom condo located in the Kennebunk Beach old general store - called The Cove House. This condo occupies the front portion of the main floor of the building with a lovely stone patio and garden out front. It is a few minutes walk to Mother's Beach and the KBIA recreation area and across the street from the Cove. The Cove House condo has a master bedroom with Queen size bed with shower ensuite, another bedroom with a Queen size bed and a third bedroom with 2 twin size beds. There is a second bathroom with a tub/shower combination. This bathroom area contains a full size washer and dryer. The living area is quite large and contains 3 large comfy couches and a couple of arm chairs. There is a propane heater in this room if the evening gets cold but this is rarely used. There is cable TV and wireless Internet. The porch area also has a couch and other seating. This porch area is where the bicycles and other equipment are stored and is the main entry way into the condo. It is often used as a "drop zone" for kids as they come back from the beach. There is a hose available just outside the porch door to hose down anyone who is tracking sand from the beach! The kitchen is well equipped and has a stove, microwave and most utensils needed. There is a BBQ available for use and it is stored at the side of the building but must be pulled far away from the building before use. Parking for 2 vehicles is on the paved parking pad behind the building. The Cove beach area is literally a 1 minute walk across Beach Ave and through the"right of way" onto the Beach. This is a great place for evening campfires (with permit)and exploring for sea shells and launching your trip to Strawberry Island.
